I got a pointy thing! (um…an ARIA award that is)
September 20th, 2007Well, actually they don’t give it to you on the night. Perhaps they’re worried someone might end up with an involuntary butt-plug at the after party.
Okay, in all seriousness, it was pretty awesome to play at the ARIAS, and to win an award too (Best Male Artist)

The ARIA broadcast kinda cut the speech where i thanked a lot of people down to maybe four and a half words (I think it was the words about me not wearing any shoes…y’know, the interesting stuff), so I’ll just send out a big thank you to all the wonderful people who support me in my music-making and just generally in life. Special thanks to all the artists who contributed to Mixed Blood, without whose musical flattery I wouldn’t have had the chance to play in a stadium and have a giant butt-plug on standby

Nice work. If the unavoidant pop-hell critics can be silenced then I’m sure you (your representative? The talking dog you’re sending in your place?) will be going home with a swagful… Of cheap champagne and shiny, shiny trophies.

Hey man, just at work listening to your track “hearts a mess” on the ipod. (my fav track) and i thought im bored enough to look up on ur site. glad i did now to find out you won some wet shiny stuff and got a new album i did not know about. so a purchase is in order to say congratz and keep up the good work.
