A-booty-booty! I’m rippin’ right into the blogosphere with this slab of ‘80s electro funk from The Reddings. Yep, sons of Otis (augmented by some hanger-on named Mark Locket…I mean, c’mon- he isn’t even a distant cousin or anything!!).
Anyways, they’ve got something in their pants.
Just for you.
Well, maybe just for me.
And also Fagatron, the only other blogger I could find writing about The Reddings. He informs us that a plastic ruler was included with the original album sleeve.
Needless to say, I rushed to my vinyl copy of If Looks Could Kill immediately and was sorely disappointed at said item’s absence.
Not that I need a ruler of course…
Well, maybe just to work out whether to put my turntable on 45 or 33.

No ruler???
I can’t believe so few people blog about The Reddings… what has become of the world? It’s times like these that I wonder if there really is such a thing as “intelligent beings”… We are failing miserably, quoth I.
Never mind, there is still time, especially with a lieutenant such as yourself- we can once again have faith.

lieutenant? that’s pretty low, i’d give it at least a major, if not lieutenant colonel. also, i would not spam all your websites with my best friend after being at your show, so that doesn’t mean much really. maybe colonel.

the five hour long game i once played with friends of “in my pants”. you simply think of a song title and add “in my pants” to the end of it.

Whats with this Army ranking here? In my books, you’re a Wing Commander, at least. I think the freaks belong in the Airforce, anyway. The Army tends to attract the psychotic and the sad.
